Conley Dees was born into a family with endless renovations ongoing to their 1925 bungalow.  He gained a love for wood at a young age and learned to take pride in his work as he worked alongside his dad.  As he was homeschooled all the way through high school, he had plenty of time to dedicate to his budding interest in woodworking.  He became an apprentice in a furniture making shop at the age of 14, and shortly after, enrolled in a woodworking college.  He has since worked refurbishing high end George Nakashima and Thomas Moser furniture, worked in a cabinet shop, built mid century modern furniture, and a built wood sculptures for an art showroom.
